She eased my fear and talked me through everything I needed to do. Gave me sound advice as to where to take the truck. Everything was handled smoothly and quickly. Settlement was swift. I was in a rental car in a matter of a few hours and in new car in a matter of days. We have been with USAA since 1976. We have had three burglary claims with them over the years and every one handled well and payment was swift. They are an honorable company who put their customers FIRST. They are fast, efficient and thorough. I highly recommend USAA to anyone who wants to be treated well!

Farm Bureau has paid every claim we have had fairly and quickly. I hydroplaned after a tire blew out and my Honda flew over an deep embankment and landed upright but the damage was significant. Again, I was easing out of a parking place at a restaurant when a large pickup blew through the lot and couldn't stop. My car was a total loss and Farm Bureau gave me what seemed to be more than they needed to based on my research of my car's worth. A third time, I bumped someone at a right turn stop sign and they took care of the dent on the other car, no questions asked. If I were them, I would refer me to another company, but they continue to offer great service at an very fair price and have just insured our new condo at an excellent rate..

Grange does not raise your rates just because a deer jumps in front of your brand new car four months after signing up. An insurance company that sticks with me after paying my $8,300 auto body repair bill without raising my rates has earned my business and my trust for a long time!
I have been a GEICO customer for about least 15 years. Claims and customer service are not the issue with them. After said years of faithfully paying my insurance on time and renewing each year I accidently back into a car in my driveway. The cars were repaired without incident. However, GEICO penalized me by taking away my good driver discount and increase my monthly insurance rate by nearly $100.00 ; leving a hefty penalty for making a claim. I can’t imagine the money they made off of me during the 15 years I’ve faithfully paid auto insurance. I am hunting for a new auto insurance carrier since GEICO obviously thinks driving is perfect and accidents never happen.
I am not a high-risk driver but I live in Colorado and Colorado has some of the highest insurance rates in the nation. I’m a middle-aged woman and had precious insurance with Progressive and State Farm. The General premiums were half the cost of these 2 insurance companies. Recently I had to make 2 claims due to a hail storm. One vehicle was totaled and the other had over $5000 in damage. [Redacted] and [Redacted] professionalism was hands down the best! I filed my claim and the SAME DAY my 2 claims were dealt with. They made these claims painless and they were executed within and above my expectations timely manner. Most other insurance companies take months sometimes up to 7 months to have a conclusion on a hail damage claim. The General Insurance took 2 days. Liberty Mutual just dropped my family because of two claims that were made on my daughters car. She had her car at school freshmen year and It was parked and hit on the rear corner closest to the road. It wasn’t her fault and no one came forward to admit to the accident. She no longer has a car at school, and drives rarely when she’s home. The second accident was when she was pulling out of the carport and her front bumper caught a wooden railing when she was backing out. That was her fault, but an accident. Isn’t that why we have insurance????? Before I got this letter from Liberty mutual, I sang their praises. I will loudly have bad things to say from now on. Don’t count on Liberty Mutual
Had this company for years including coverage for my 21 Year son...not an easy feat to get reasonable prices, complete consideration by all employees and real people who meet all our needs when it really counts. Example..my son was in a total loss accident when hit (hit and run) on a busy freeway. He had minor physical injuries but Wawanesa came through providing everything we needed! We love Wawanesa.
One of the General’s insured pulled out in front of us,& we ran right into her! That was June 8, 2018, it took them until Sept 24 to fix our SUV,& they refuse to pay for the rental car!!! [Redacted] said it should’ve only taken 3 days to fix, but the whole front end had to be repaired! She had no idea how long it takes to repair a vehicle,& this is the worst company in the world!!!!

When I talked to the employees at 21st Century Insurance, they don't talk at me, they talk to me just like they would any other person. They look past the bottom line dollar signs and see me as an individual; a lot of insurance companies today can't seem to deliver that. I think it's obnoxious when a company becomes so big that they don't treat the customers as people anymore or when companies become so large that the employees become impersonal and arrogant. So far, I've not encountered this with 21st Century Insurance and that, my friends, leaves me a satisfied customer!

TRUCK OWNERS BEWARE! I had Ameriprise for almost 20 years until today. They DOUBLED my rates to $750/6 months when I moved, then required I complete a new application as though I was a new customer. Then, because I made a mistake on the form (I'm old, I make mistakes sometimes), they insisted I provide them titles to the vehicles, one I don't have because it's financed, the other I sent them years ago. So they said to send the registrations, which I did. Next day I get an email saying I have to send the titles again. I called and told them I felt I was being harassed. They said fine, the registrations would work. But, that we needed to discuss the issue of me using my truck to pull a horse trailer. I said I wasn't using my truck to pull a horse trailer, I had only called to inquire whether or not they "insure" horse trailers. DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! BEWARE! I got the General Insurance in Feb 2018 and paid $198/month. It was affordable and everything was great UNTIL I HAD AN ACCIDENT in November 2018. The adjuster was RUDE to everyone, including the Auto Body shop, refused to return calls and hung up on people. My claim was then transferred to a 2nd Adjuster mid-process and I NEVER received any calls at all from the 2nd guy. The only communication I got from him was via mail.

It’s all fun and games and think you’re getting a good deal til you’re actually sitting on the side of the road with flat tire in 90 degrees heat, 7pm at night, late for someplace you’re supposed to be at, and this clown-[redacted[ bulls*** company after 40 minutes on hold tells you too bad… yes you purchased roadside assistance for towing coverage but it only covers you if you’re in an accident… not a flat tire. What?? Then gave me 3 different customer service numbers to call a 3rd party company if I wanted an exception. It was much quicker to just call a tow company any pay it out of pocket than spend 2 hours on the phone on side of the road stranded far from home and it’s getting dark. Worst company ever and guilty of fraud.

I just switched from State Farm to Nationwide and State Farm was reasonable, though I wasn't necessarily happy with the coverage. It was only $79 a month for full coverage, but they didn't have accident forgiveness, if I got into an accident, I would have to pay 20% of the rental fee for a car, and the lowest deductible for collision they will go is $250. I switched to Nationwide a week ago and the quote was for $70 a month, (every little bit counts) but the big difference is the coverage. I got accident forgiveness included, also they pay 100% of car rental fee, and I only have $100 deductible for collision. However they do have $0 deductible but 100 I can do. This is for a 2011 Ford Focus which Focuses are generally cheap to insure.


I was hit by one they insured. It was his fault. The GENERAL ran me around on my vehicle. Heavy damage to right front end. They wanted to total it but I was smarter than that. I check the book value on my vehicle. It was able to fix not totaled. They didnt want to pay 4 grand repairs. They wanted to total it cause it was cheaper for them. They didnt want to pay for my rental car. I was out of a car cause of their insure hit me and was at fault. I had to go through 2 guys get their story straight. They try to lie about it. They are the worst INSURANCE ever. I hope no one gets hit by them. You are in for a treat. They are very dishonest, I had to be tough with them. It was crazy...

AARP (The Hartford group) save me over $600.00 a year on my home and Auto insurance. I was with Liberty Mutual for around 15 years and never had any claims. But they would not lower my premiums. The old proverbial straw was, this year they raised the rates on us again. So see ya later for sure. They do not appreciate their loyal good customers. Don't buy from them unless you like to give money away.


The underinsured motorist coverage works similarly, but it would only pay out when you get hit by someone who does have auto insurance, but your bodily injury damages that they caused are more than they carry, leaving them underinsured. Just like your bodily injury, the UMPD would pay to fix the damage to your car caused by the other driver, and you only have to pay the $250 deductible.
